I guess we all have different tastes and different attitudes to what we attribute as good horror. I hated this book, I found the story and the characters held little or no interest for me, and it just seemed to be a killing field of the good guy against the myth and the monster. I know many will differ from my view but on this occasion there is no way I can sing the praises of Mr Curran (I did however love Skin Medicine!)and so I leave it to those who had enjoyment from this story to expand on the themes.....
